Text layers, the Character & Paragraph panels, source-text keyframes, simple reveals and the built-in text Animation Presets — then Text Animators and the Range Selector, per-character animation, timing type to a beat, and revealing text with masks.

In-class exercise

Exercise 2 · Reveal & Animate Type — Create and style a title, reveal it and inspect a preset, then animate per-character with a Text Animator + Range Selector, timed to a beat.
