In class

The Roto Brush 2 workflow, selection propagation, Refine Edge for hair and motion blur, and freezing the matte — then frame-by-frame mask roto, Mocha planar roto for tricky shots, edge cleanup, and placing an element behind a moving subject.

In-class exercise

Exercise 9 · Roto & Occlude — Isolate a subject with Roto Brush 2 (refine, freeze, re-background), then hand-roto so an element passes behind the subject.
