My name is J. Marshall PIttman and I specialize in character rigging and animation pipelines, focusing on AR and VR. I have contributed work to Emblematic Group, IStation, Reel FX Creative Studios, JCPenney, Visual Handshake, Liquid Pictures, and others. I taught at Valencia Community College, Full Sail (University), and the University of Texas at Dallas before joining the full-time faculty at Collin College as a Professor of Visual Communication in Animation & Game Art, where I have been since 2004. I have been involved in the ACM Conference (ACM97 & ACM1) and SIGGRAPH Conference (SIGkids ’94, Digital Bayou ’96, Electric Garden ’97, Millenium Motel ’99) production for emerging technologies venues, was SIGkids Chair in 2010, was technical director of CG Con, and I am a co-founder of the annual Industry Giants conference and the animation guild A Bunch of Short Guys in Dallas, Texas. I’ve co-hosted the North Texas node of the annual Global Game Jam since 2010. I am a Certified Unity Developer, Co-founder and CTO of Augmented Traveler, and I have a degree in Graphic Design Technology.
