Notes

Attendance — 1 point per class meeting across 16 meetings, with one absence dropped, capped at 15.

Exercises — 2 points each, scored on two criteria:

Criterion 1 pt
Implementation Builds and runs; the required feature works, no console errors
Design decision A deliberate, defensible choice beyond the defaults

Each criterion is met or not met — no partial credit within a criterion.

Extra credit — up to 5 points for industry events, meetups, game jams, and conferences. 1 point each with proof of attendance and a short takeaway paragraph.

Late work — late exercises earn the Implementation point only. Milestones and Canvas homework lose 20% per week. Nothing accepted after the final class meeting.
